You Have Friends produces handwritten postcard experiences for weddings, corporate offices, hotels, festivals and brand events, and we handle the printing, staffing, postage and mailing that go with them.

02What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the booking calendar on it. It does not cover the postcards written at an activation. Those are written by your guests, addressed by them, and mailed unread by us. We do not transcribe, photograph, copy or retain their contents.

03Information you give us

When you book a call through this website, the booking form collects:

Your name
Your email address
Your phone number
The date and time you selected
Anything you type into the notes or questions field

If you email us directly, we hold whatever you choose to include in that email.

04Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page loads, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and time of visit. This is ordinary server logging and is not used to build a profile of you.

We use analytics provided through our website platform to understand how visitors find and move through this site, including pages viewed, time spent and the source of the visit. This is reported to us in aggregate and is not used to identify you individually.

We use the Meta Pixel on this website. It places a cookie in your browser and tells Meta that you visited this site or booked a call, which lets us measure how our advertising performs and show ads to people who have visited before. You can control this through your Meta ad preferences and your browser’s cookie settings.

05Why we use it

We use the information you give us to:

Confirm and manage the call you booked
Correspond with you about your event
Prepare a proposal if you ask for one
Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

If you book a call or contact us, we may send you occasional emails about our seasonal activations and availability. Every one of those emails includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing [email protected].

06Legal basis

We process this information because you asked us to, by submitting a booking or an enquiry, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and keeping accurate business records.

07GoHighLevel and LeadConnector

This website and our booking calendar run on GoHighLevel, also operating as LeadConnector. When you book a call, your details are stored in our GoHighLevel account, which acts as our customer relationship system.

GoHighLevel processes this information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policy. We make no representation about their internal security practices or certifications. If you would like to understand how they handle data, please read their published policy directly.

08Other services we rely on

Beyond GoHighLevel, we use:

Email providers, to send and receive correspondence with you
Postal services, to mail postcards written at activations
Printing partners, who produce postcard stock and never receive your personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

09How long we keep it

Information is retained for as long as needed to respond to an enquiry, deliver a booked service, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

If you booked a call and no work followed, tell us and we will delete your record.

10Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access our systems and using reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Tell you what information we hold about you
Correct anything inaccurate
Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
