Privacy Policy
This is a plain description of what we collect through this website and what we do with it. If something here is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.
01Who we are
You Have Friends is a postcard activation service operated by Rhea Eliza Thielbar as a sole proprietor. We produce handwritten postcard experiences for hotels, corporate offices, festivals and brand events, and we handle the printing, staffing, postage and mailing that go with them.
This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. For anything not covered here, write to [email protected].
02What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the booking calendar on it. It does not cover the postcards written at an activation. Those are written by your guests, addressed by them, and mailed unread by us. We do not transcribe, photograph, copy or retain their contents.
03Information you give us
When you book a call through this website, the booking form collects:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The date and time you selected
- Anything you type into the notes or questions field
If you email us directly, we hold whatever you choose to include in that email.
04Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page loads, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and time of visit. This is ordinary server logging and is not used to build a profile of you.

06Legal basis
We process this information because you asked us to, by submitting a booking or an enquiry, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and keeping accurate business records.
07GoHighLevel and LeadConnector
This website and our booking calendar run on GoHighLevel, also operating as LeadConnector. When you book a call, your details are stored in our GoHighLevel account, which acts as our customer relationship system.
GoHighLevel processes this information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policy. We make no representation about their internal security practices or certifications. If you would like to understand how they handle data, please read their published policy directly.
08Other services we rely on
Beyond GoHighLevel, we use:
- Email providers, to send and receive correspondence with you
- Postal services, to mail postcards written at activations
- Printing partners, who produce postcard stock and never receive your personal information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
09Text messaging
We do not currently send marketing text messages through this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated with the applicable consent and opt-out language before any message is sent.
10How long we keep it
Information is retained for as long as needed to respond to an enquiry, deliver a booked service, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
If you booked a call and no work followed, tell us and we will delete your record.
11Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access our systems and using reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop contacting you
Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
13California residents
California law gives residents additional rights over their personal information, including rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
Whether the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us depends on thresholds we may not meet. If you are a California resident and want to exercise any right described above, contact us and we will honour the request regardless of whether we are strictly required to.
14External links
This site may link to other websites, including our social accounts. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing them information.
15Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
